Thank you for joining me on my journey with Mercy Ships, an organization that uses hospital ships to bring hope and healing. This blog reflects my personal experience and perspective, and not the views and opinions of Mercy Ships. Thanks for reading!

About

Hi, my name is Kate!

I'm an outgoing introvert, and if I were a vegetable, I would be a sweet potato. This blog is my personal writings about my work with Mercy Ships, and views and opinions expressed therein are my own.

I have found another home in Holland, Michigan, where I attended college; another in Cotonou, Benin, where I worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators for a year, and a third on a floating home-away-from-home called the Africa Mercy.

My favorite activities include hiking, biking, playing Code Names, leading worship, and watching from close-up as milk is poured into hot beverages (it's so beautiful!).

Mercy Ships is always looking for new volunteers. If you might be interested, don't hesitate to contact me!

  1. Hello Kate. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you and about your interest in volunteering on Mercy sheep. It would be great opportunity for young people from India to have exposure on a Mercy ship to go as a volunteer. Would you please let me know the areas where volunteers are needed. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends.
